A manufacturer of fittings and fabricated tubular products such as pistons wanted to save money on cleaner for its 4 vibratory machines. The vibratory soap they purchased was $3.25 per gallon.
It was shown that a product costing $8.95/gallon would lower their usage five-fold, and reduce chemical costs by 50%.
The product is VBS 1543, a high powered, heavier-built burnisher in the same product family as the popular VBS 125.
VBS 1543 was developed by Finishing Technology Inc., a manufacturer
of vibratory compounds and other mass finishing products. VBS 1543 is distinctive in that it contains a special surfactant package and has a higher citric acid content. The company realized additional savings through reductions in its shipping costs.
