Mobiltherm 603 heat transfer oil from Acculube is high performance product for use in closed indirect heating installations. It is formulated from highly refined base stocks that resist thermal cracking and chemical oxidation. It has good heat transfer efficiency and its viscosity is such that it can be pumped readily at both start-up and operating temperatures. The flash point of the oil will not decrease significantly in service because of its resistance to thermal cracking at the operating temperatures for which it is recommended. Mobiltherm 603 is very thermally stable and capable of an extremely long service life without deposit formation or viscosity increase. It demonstrates specific heat and thermal conductivity that provides more rapid heat dissipation. Mobiltherm heat transfer oil is recommended for use in both closed and open, cold-oil sealed, indirect heating and cooling systems.
