Aviation Hydraulic Fluid

  • Mobil HyJet IV-Aplus A fire-resistant phosphate ester hydraulic fluid for commercial aircraft.
Best-performing Type IV fluid offering high temperature stability, low density, rust protection.
Meets the specifications of all major aircraft manufacturers and SAE AS1241.
  • Mobil HyJet V – Type V fire-resistant phosphate ester hydraulic fluid is superior in thermal and hydrolytic
stability compared to commercial Type IV hydraulic fluids. Better stability means fluid degradation in aircraft
systems will be less than Type IV fluids, in-service fluid life will be longer and maintenance costs will be lower.
Excellent high and low temperature flow properties (kinematic viscosities) and rust protection.
  • Mobil Aero HFA – Premium quality fluid meets U.S. Military specification MIL-H-5606A.  Very high VI, suitable
for temperatures to -54°C (-65°F).  While this fluid is no longer used by the U.S. Military, it is used in private, and
commercial aircraft, also industrial and commercial equipment requiring good fluidity at very low temperatures.
Mobil Aero HFA aviation fluid is now available for immediate online ordering at the Acculube lubricants store!
  • Mobil Aero HF – Premium fluid meets MIL-PRF-5606.  Physical properties are very similar to Mobil Aero HFA.
    Meets “superclean” requirements of modern aircraft hydraulic systems.  Intended for military aircraft;
also used as a hydraulic fluid for private and commercial aircraft, and as a strut fluid in landing gear of
commercial aircraft.  A NATO Code Number H-515 fluid.
  • Mobil Aero HFS – Synthetic polyalphaolefin (PAO) lubricant meets MIL-PRF-83282.  It does not contain a
viscosity index (VI) improver.  Designed for use at temperatures to -40°C (-40°F).  Lower flammability and
volatility and improved stability, but has a higher viscosity at low temperature than Mobil Aero HF.
Meets “superclean” requirements; intended primarily for U.S. Military aircraft.  NATO Code Number H-537.

Mobil Aero HFA meets MIL-H-5606A (obsolete) quality level.
Mobil Aero HF meets MIL-PRF-5606 approved and NATO Code H-515.
Mobil Aero HFS meets MIL-PRF-83282 approved and NATO Code H-537.

Jet Oils

  • Mobil Jet Oil II – Engineered for aircraft gas turbine engines used in commercial and military service requiring
MIL-PRF-23699 performance and aircraft-type gas turbine engines in industrial or marine service.  Formulated
with a stable synthetic base fluid and a unique chemical additive package for thermal and oxidative stability to resist
deterioration and deposit formation, also resistant to foaming.  Operating range -40°C (-40°F) and 204°C (400°F).
  • Mobil Jet Oil 254 – Synthetic aircraft-type gas turbine lubricant for commercial and military aircraft.
Formulated from a hindered ester base stock for superior thermal and oxidation stability; operating range
    is -40°C (-40°F) and 232°C (450°F).
  • Mobil Avrex M Turbo 201/1010 – Gas turbine lubricant combines a proven aviation engine mineral oil base stock
and an ashless additive package.  Meets MIL-PRF-6081, Grade 1010. Use only in turbine engines where operating
temperatures are within the capability range of mineral oil-based lubricants. Operating range 40°C and 121°C
    (-40°F and 250°F); pour point is below -57°C (-70°F).
  • Mobil Avrex S Turbo 256 – Gas turbine lubricant has a highly stable synthetic base fluid and unique chemical
    additive package.  Outstanding thermal and oxidative stability to resist deterioration and deposit formation;
excellent resistance to foaming.  Operating range is -54°C and 176°C (-65°F and 350°F).  Pour point is below
-60°C (-75°F).  High specific heat ensures good heat transfer from oil-cooled engine parts.  Excellent bulk oil
stability at temperatures up to 176°C (350°F).

Piston Oils

  • Mobil Aviation Oil Elite 20W-50 – Premium quality, semi-synthetic, ashless-dispersant aviation piston engine oil
formulated from highly refined mineral base oils, a polyalphaolefin synthetic base oil, and ashless performance
additives for outstanding engine cleanliness, wear protection and corrosion protection.  Aviation Oil Elite 20W-50 meets
applicable piston engine manufacturer’s requirements under a wide range of climatic conditions.

Environmental Hydraulic Fluid

Acculube is well-known for its broad selection of environmental hydraulic fluid products,
including Mobil DTE Excel Series oils.

These superior performance hydraulic oils were developed for use in high-speed, high-pressure piston, vane and
gear pumps. They are formulated from high quality base stocks and super-stabilized additives. Their advanced technology,
ashless anti-wear additive system provides exceptional corrosion protection for copper-based alloys in severe hydraulic
applications such as high-pressure axial piston pumps. This unique additive system also makes this Mobil hydraulic fluid
series compatible with metalworking coolants.

Mobil DTE Excel Series oils provide excellent oxidation and thermal stability, which extends oil and filter life,
protects equipment and reduces maintenance and disposal costs. They were developed in conjunction with major
OEMs to meet the stringent requirements of severe hydraulic systems using high pressure, high output pumps as well
as handling the critical requirements of other hydraulic system components such as close clearance servo-valves and
high-accuracy NC machine tools.

DTE Excel Series hydraulic oils are designed for systems operating under moderate to severe conditions where
high levels of anti-wear and film strength protection are needed, as well as applications where non-anti-wear hydraulic
oils are generally recommended.

Mobil DTE Excel Series hydraulic oils from Acculube exhibit outstanding high temperature performance,
providing exceptional equipment protection. The excellent oxidation resistance and thermal stability characteristics
of DTE Excel Series hydraulic oils allow extension of oil and filter change intervals while assuring clean systems and
trouble-free operation. Their anti-wear properties and excellent film strength results in exceptional equipment performance
that minimizes breakdowns and improves production capacity. Controlled demulsibility permits these hydraulic fluid products
to work well in systems contaminated with small amounts of water, yet readily separates large amounts of water.
